Greenwich YMCA Divers Win at West Point 
On Sunday, February 17, Greenwich YMCA Marlins Diving Club competed at the Crandall Pool inside the West Point Military Academy against five teams, including the West Point Divers. All 18 Marlins divers gave stellar performances; they won the meet, and three divers qualified for AAU Nationals.

In Praise of Fathers - Day of Tribute Began at a YMCA in 1910
It began at a YMCA in Spokane, Wash., with a young woman named Sonora Louise Smart. She was the daughter of a Civil War veteran, raising his children alone after the death of their mother. On Mother's Day in 1909, Sonora heard a sermon honoring mothers and wondered why there was no holiday for fathers.
