Greenwich Family YMCA Welcomes
New Youth & Family Director
Greenwich, CT-January 12, 2007... The Greenwich Family YMCA welcomed Susan
Baird as its new Youth and Family Director. Baird has more than 13 years of
experience working with children.
"We are so pleased to have this wonderfully talented and experienced
individual join our staff," said Barbara Taylor, YMCA Vice President of
Operations. "Susan will be an asset to the Greenwich Family YMCA and our
children and families," Taylor said.
Susan Baird joins the Greenwich Family YMCA after 13 years with the Wilton
Family YMCA, where she served as Senior Program Director and worked in the
Physical Education, Aquatics and Membership departments. Baird has a B.S. in
Health, Physical Education and Dance and a B.S. in Recreation and Fitness
Management from Lock Haven University. Baird has many certifications including
YMCA Senior Director; American Red Cross Instructor in WSIT, Community First Aid
and CPR; and teaching certification for Health and Physical Education in New
Jersey and Pennsylvania.
