Facilities

The Greenwich Family YMCA's new 50-meter X
25-yard state-of-the-art Olympic Aquatics Center features a 13 foot deep,
25-yard X 40 ft. diving well. The diving well will be equipped for optimum
training consisting of [1] three-meter and [2] one-meter maxi-flex diving boards
set on duraflex' durafirm stands. A second three-meter maxi-flex board will be
added in the second year of the program.
The facilities will also include a dry-board with
overhead spotting rig, two mounted TIVO systems- for delayed video playback of
dives, a hot-tub- to stay warm between dives; along with multiple stretch mats
and fitness equipment for dry-land training and conditioning- all designed to
provide a safe, progressive training environment for every diver.
