Leaders Club will expose students to a professional business setting and
introduce them to successful leaders and community resources. This program will
teach students to make informed decisions, work as a group and build confidence.

Students will form a team and develop a product or service they will then
market at the Greenwich Family Y. Workshops include marketing, customer service,
public speaking, dressing for success, social etiquette classes, creative
writing and drama. The group will take field trips to local retail outlets,
financial institutions and humanitarian organizations to acquaint students with
the business community. Community leaders will speak to students about making a
difference in their chosen field. Sessions will also include exposure to
different types of exercises available at the Y such as cardiovascular, yoga and
meditation, running and movement. Time is also available for relaxed
socialization with other participants. Parent reception will take place on last
session to celebrate the group’s accomplishments.
